Where are the retreats held? TOP
Most of the Scrapaway Retreats are held at the Marriott Courtyard in Fremont, California. The staff is wonderful and everyone has been very happy with this location.

Camp Retreats have been held in the past at Camp Hammer in the Santa Cruz Hills. I am always looking for other locations that everyone will like.
We have been researching lodges in the Twain Harte area for some upcoming getaways. How do we find roommates? TOP
Just let me know that you are interested in sharing a room. I will contact other people attending the weekend for you and see who else is willing to share. I do my best to match personalities. How do I book my room? TOP
Your room is included with the cost of the retreat. You do not have to worry about booking your room. What is the refund and payment policy? TOP
There is no refund policy. If there is a waiting list for the retreat you are signed up for, you will get a credit for the amount you paid and you can use that for another retreat and someone will move up from the waiting list. You are also welcome to “Sell your spot” to someone you know. Can we bring alcohol? TOP
Alcohol can be brought to the Marriott Courtyard retreats and the Twain Harte Getaways . Camp Hammer does not allow it. Are there products to purchase at the Retreats? TOP
Yes! There are products available at the scrapbooking retreats to purchase at the retreats. We are currently researching vendors for our quilt retreats. What if I just want to come and scrapbook and not sleep over at the hotel? TOP
There are usually a couple “Day Crop Only” spots. However, since we have a contract with the hotel, and need to fill a minimum amount of rooms; people who book a room have priority over “Day Crop Only” spots.
However, you can scrapbook ALL NIGHT LONG! It is nice to not have to worry about driving and you can take a nap anytime!
Upon your request for a spot at a Scrapaway Retreat, I will confirm space is available. Full Payment for the Getaway is due 6 weeks before the event start date. You do not officially have a table space until I receive your payment. You will receive a confirmation once your payment is received.
How do I pay? TOP
You can pay through this website with a credit card or PayPal account; you can also make arrangement with me to pay with check. A deposit is required to secure your space for the weekend. Upon you request for a spot at a retreat, I will confirm space is available and give you details on where to send payment if you have not done so already. Full Payment for the weekend is due 6 weeks before the event start date. You do not officially have a table space or a room until I receive your deposit. You will receive a confirmation once your payment is received. What If I only want to come on Saturday and Sunday? TOP
You can come only Saturday & Sunday; However the charge for the weekend remains the same. We encourage you to use the other evenings of the event to come and work on your projects. For instance you can come Friday night to set up, leave your stuff out and come back Saturday morning. Utilize the time well. Scrapbooking Swap Table TOP
Bring your unused sticker sheets, embellishments, papers or craft items you never intend to use. Donate them to the swap table and then take your pick of what others have tossed in. There aer always treasures to be had! Are massages and facials included? TOP
Massages are not included, but we are given an extremely great deal on them. A massage works out to $1/minute, with a small added free for hot stones, or other add-on options.
The certified massage therapists we work are wonderful! You have the option of deep tissue, swedish, sports, reflexology, hot stones and/or a combination of any of the above mentioned.
Sometimes there is an option for a massage/facial combo. This run's about $100 per 1.5 hours. This includes a 1 hour massage and 1/2 hour mini facial.
